Book flights with crypto, ticket issued in your name

Crypto flight booking, with the ticket issued by the airline in your name. Pay for crypto flights with BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. The total is held on your balance and charged only when the airline issues the e-ticket number.

No ID upload at checkout, no selfie. The airline gets only the traveller data it requires. Airline ID rules still apply.

Quick answer

How do I book flights with crypto?

Book flights with crypto on SatFares, a flight booking site paid only in crypto. Top up from $25 in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC (USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20). Pick a live fare and book from your balance. The total is held, not charged. Our team books the ticket on request and confirms the final total. You are charged only when the airline issues the e-ticket number in the traveller's name.

Held, not charged

  1. Your balance is held at checkout

The exact total shown is held on your balance. Nothing is charged yet.

  2. We book the ticket for you

Bookings are made on request: our team books the ticket with the airline and confirms the final total. If it is higher than the amount held, you accept the new total or the amount is released.

  3. Charged only when the e-ticket number is issued

Your balance is charged when the airline issues the e-ticket number. If we can't get the ticket issued in time, the full amount is released to your balance.

If the total changes before the ticket is issued, you see the new total and choose: accept it, or have the amount released. Nothing extra is ever taken without your agreement.

Each route page covers the card rules at departure, the passenger refund rules that apply and the airports. The note is the great-circle distance.

Questions before you book

Is it safe to book flights with crypto?

It can be, if your money is held until the airline issues the ticket. On SatFares, the total is held, not charged, until the e-ticket number is issued. If it can't be issued in time, the amount is released. The airline issues the ticket in the traveller's name. Blockchain payments are public: private checkout, not anonymity. Send each coin only on the network shown. See how it works.

Can I book flights with Bitcoin?

Yes. SatFares accepts Bitcoin on the Bitcoin network, credited after 2 confirmations. Bitcoin Lightning is not accepted. Your top-up is credited in US dollars, and you book from that balance. To compare other sellers, see crypto flight booking sites compared.

Which coins and networks can I pay with?

You can pay with Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC). USDT works on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20). USDC works on Ethereum (ERC-20) only. Send each coin only on the network shown. We don't accept Monero (XMR). See paying by coin and network.

When is my balance charged?

Only when the airline issues the e-ticket number. At checkout, the total is held on your balance. Our team then books the ticket and confirms the final total. If it is higher, you accept it or the amount is released. If the ticket can't be issued in time, the full amount is released. See how it works.

Who books my ticket, and how long does it take?

Our team books it with the airline, on request, after checkout. We don't promise an issuing time. Your balance stays held, not charged, while you wait, and My trips shows the status. When the airline issues the e-ticket number, your e-ticket appears in My trips. If it can't be issued in time, the amount is released.

Can I book low-cost airlines?

Yes. Our live search can return low-cost airlines such as Ryanair, Wizz Air, AirAsia and IndiGo, and our team books them on request. Ryanair asks passengers who book through an agent without a commercial agreement to verify their identity with Ryanair. Sanctioned airlines are never sold. See low-cost airlines and crypto.

Do you check my ID?

No. There is no ID upload and no selfie at checkout. Airline ID rules still apply: each traveller's names exactly as in the passport, date of birth and gender, plus passport details for international trips. We pass them to the airline only. See what data airlines require.

What happens if the airline cancels my flight?

If the airline cancels or heavily changes your flight and you don't accept another flight, you get a refund in USDT or USDC within 7 days, or a balance credit, as you choose. If you cancel yourself, the fare rules apply and any refund goes to your balance. See refunds.

What is your fee?

Our fee rule: none (no booking fee or payment fee is added). The price shown is the fare found live for all passengers, in US dollars, taxes included, with no fee added; the final total is confirmed before you are charged. Nothing is added at checkout: the total in the search results is the amount held on your balance. A higher final total always needs your agreement. Network fees go to the blockchain, not to us. See pricing.
